Daniel joined Thomson Reuters Foundation in October 2009 and helped design and launch the TrustLaw service.TrustLaw is now the biggest facilitator of free legal assistance in the world with over 400 top law firms assisting 1,600+ NGOs and social enterprises in 150 countries. He is responsible for growing the programme in the UK and Ireland and for developing strategic partnerships with the leaders of the third sector.

Daniel is Norwegian-Iranian and has studied in Spain, Japan, China, and United States through his dual BA and MBA. He speaks Norwegian, Spanish, some Farsi and has experience in the US and UK in working directly with social enterprises to scale their ventures. In his previous career he worked in the interpretation/translation industry in the US and Ireland. When he’s not at work he spends the vast majority of his free time writing music for film and traveling.
